Early Learning (ELC)

Early education at Al-Qalam Academy, provides young learners with a strong foundation in academics, social skills and character development. Out program is design to nurture curiosity, independence, and a love for learning in a safe, engaging, and Islamic value-based environment. Small class sizes, qualified educators, and enrichment opportunities make early learning at AQA both effective and meaningful.

Our Pre-K curriculum at Al-Qalam Academy is built around a consistent daily framework that promotes spiritual, academic, and social growth. Each morning begins with school-wide gatherings and circle time to foster community and communication, followed by Qur’an & Islamic studies that ground students in faith and character. Mid-morning blocks rotate through language and math foundations, science and art exploration, and social and reading engagements, while dedicated sessions in Arabic, physical education, and creative arts develop linguistic fluency and gross motor skills. Afternoons blend restorative rest periods, nutritious snacks, and collaborative play before children prepare for dismissal. Delivered in small classes by qualified educators, our flexible schedule balances structured learning with hands-on discovery, nurturing curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning in a safe, values-based environment.
